Time really flies...
A few months ago i'd just graduated from Poly and now here I am, in SIM embarking on my degree programme. Sometimes I really wonder why I'd chosen to continue my studies first instead of finding a decent job. It's just contradicting; while i was pursuing my studies, i can't wait to finish it and take off to find a job. When i'm working, i would miss the times in school...the times spent studying and etc.. oh well~ life.

Anyway, bf has entered army and is currently undergoing his training in Tekong.. Really miss him lots.. i guess i've been overly-dependent on him. i feel so empty and lost sometimes.. Throughout the years that we've been dating, he has always been the one doing the guidance, giving the directives.. cause apparently i'm one who's indecisive. On a side note, this year he had spent his birthday in camp. I dont know whether it's predestined or what but he's just really suay... not only is he spending his birthday in camp, he's also down with high fever. the illness persisted on for consecutively 5 days and counting.. lots of demoralising things happened.. eventually his MO also found out about his wrist problem and he had no choice but to hand over the letter certifying that he needs to be excused from trainings involving the use of his wrists. his morale plunged when he was told that he might need to drop out of course and gotta re-course BMT again. He told me that he felt like crying. Upon hearing what he's said, i feel so helpless. apart from consoling him, i cant think and suggest of ways to help him cause i'm totally clueless about these kinda army stuffs. Sigh~ from now on i'll start to pray for him..firstly im'ma pray for a speedy recovery for him and next, gotta pray to buddha and the deities to bless him with good health and good luck. Hope it works!

i'm bored.. really bored.. thus here i am, updating my blog again.
recently many people have been tackled by the flu virus, and unfortunately i'm one of the many victims. at this time, this moment, i'm supposed to be with my class at seletar country club for golf putting sessions but due to the fact that i'm down with cough and flu, i gotta stay at home and stone. for missing out on the golf session, i've also wasted $12 for nothing and approximately $20+ for medicines and MC. money dont come by easily and i've wasted so much today..oh well =(

Anyway i've been pondering alot recently. One particular matter that i've been dwelling on is how i should lead my life. As you see, to lead a fulfilling life, first of all you've gotta know what's your career path. On a sidenote, I realised that I'm very easily influenced. Some time back, I made up my mind to pursue an early childhood diploma after poly graduation cause i believe that I've a passion for educating the younger lot and in becoming a kindergarten teacher. However, after telling one of my seniors of my career plan, she explained to me that all's not worth it as i'll only be wasting time and money away. I deemed her explanation to be true and thought that it really made alot of sense hence I decided to simply pursue a hospitality and tourism degree in private uni since that's the subject that i'm doing for my diploma right now. When I met up with my cousin a week back, she shared with me how she had attained her current achievements. She graduated from MDIS holding a general business degree and now, she is an assistant manager of a certain dept in Citibank Pte Ltd. During her poly days and while pursuing her degree course, she worked as a part-timer at fish and co. Her experience at fish and co was 6-7 years. Upon graduation, she headed to citibank and UOB for interviews. Within a short period of time, both UOB and citibank responded by offering her work contracts; she chose the latter option. The conversation with her really set me thinking and I was determined to follow her footsteps. However, my decision waivered again several days back when my parents and I were watching the news. SIM is said to be offering a degree in Chinese Studies to train and cultivate potential chinese teachers; MOE is looking for 500 candidates to fill in the vacancies for chinese teachers. My parents encouraged me to take up that degree course as they know that i've always been passionate about learning chinese and Chinese was my best subject throughout primary and secondary education. Now, i'm caught in the middle and am spoilt for choice. How do i ultimately decide which path to take on? I really dont know. I guess i really need to go for job counselling sessions... but how do i go for it? who do i approach? =/

In a blink of an eye, another week's gone... grandma's gone too.

During the previous week, 我经历到、领悟了一些事物. It made me pondered alot... 原来我们之间的友谊是那么地脆弱...还是...sigh.. shall not continue with it anymore..真的是越想越辛酸。

Anyway, went to facebook just now and saw a status posted by someone. I dont know why, but as a friend, i'm feeling very infuriated that he's still acting that way. I know i'm in no position to talk about it, but Seriously speaking, there's really no use in holding on to it anymore. Stop deluding yourself since you're already aware of the truth. What's gone is gone and all that you can do now is wake up and move forward. No use dwelling on the past anymore. I really hope that you can face the reality bravely. 何必自暴自弃呢？你那又是何苦呢？ Haiyo. She's not going to witness it and she has already moved on, so why couldn't you?

Counselling no longer work for that person so all that I can do now is to wish for the best for him. Hope he can divert his attention to focusing on other stuffs ba.

Hmm, seems like it's been some time since i last blogged. time really flies ya... and in a blink of an eye, it's already year 2011. 2010 hasn't been a smooth sailing year; well at least to me.. there're just so many unhappiness that i'd experienced throughout that year; countless family problems, loss of a friend, got into some conflicts with my boss from internship, friends issues and etc etc.

Just when i thought perhaps 2011 may turn out to be a good headstart, problems arose. Some days back, my grandmother was admitted to the ICU of changi general hospital. I went to visit her upon receiving the news. There were several tubes inserted into her, and all that I can conclude was that she shouldn't have gone through all those torments. It's really heart-wrenching. She couldn't even speak; it really hurts me to see her suffer in that way... what's more is that, she's already in her seventies. The day before yesterday, her condition got slightly better and she was transferred to the normal ward. and again, just when we thought she's on the route to recovering, she's down with high fever. Visited her just now with my parents and found out from the nurse that her body temperature's at 39.1 degree celsius. She didnt even had the strength to open her eyes and communicate with us. I truly hope that things can really change for the better and she'll be fine again.

Well, it's been a few days since i last blog and yup, i was busy with school stuffs; projects & tests.. Right, i can't wait for the arrival of holidays~ =DD

ANYWAY, Had this accounting test 1 week ago or something and results was released yesterday.. AND! i failed my test. Okay i had to admit i wasn't well-prepared for this test, so i guess it's no wonder that i failed it. =(( Supposed to go for attractions mgt lecture with Samantha after accounting tutorial but i wasn't totally in the mood to listen attentively to shum *EMOs* Sam didn't feel like going as well, right? heh heh =X

okay so obviously....

we chabo the lecture and she accompanied me down to VIVO/harbourfront centre to seek some "retail therapy" thingy; but to no avail... cause i didnt buy anything in the end! LOL. but nevertheless, we had a good chat yup. and sam's supposed to help me ask something! lol. tell me about the results okay? =D

oh ya, some random stuffs; i'm beginning to realise that i'm consuming more and more fatty food. are there any ways to stop the cravings? I'll definitely need some feasible suggestions!

P.S. I will be better! =D

TODAY: went to lunch at RITS(Restaurant in the Square) with the girls; Cynthia, Fion, Jana, Pei Jun & Mu En. In case you all are wondering where the heck is this place; well, it's this "posh-looking" restaurant in my school (Tourism Academy of Sentosa). How cool is that? *winks* Anyhow, it is somewhat similar to TP's Toptable. so yup.

Swimming

Went swimming on Saturday with the Sec Sch Peeps; Andrew gor, Boo Keong, Daniel, Eric <3, Genevieve A.K.A Bobby, Gideon, Joy, Keng Leong, Sin Yong, Wu Yu & Yong Shun at the Jurong East Swimming Complex. The meeting time was supposedly 2.30pm as suggested by andrew gor but apparently it turned out that all of us were late. hahaa. Oh, and Bob & I wore our SP Shirts there =D Thanks Charles A.K.A mistress for helping us to purchase! XD

The swimming complex is somewhat similar to "Wet & Wild" @ Pasir Ris AND the admission fee is only at an amazing price of $1 (okay, I paid child fare XD)! Tt's super cheap alright.

Anyways, after that Joy, Bob and I changed into our swimming costumes. I'm not sure about them but it's an awkward feeling for me man. *shy* XD Our first stop was at the "lazy pool" and this's where i almost "zaogeng". We were supposed to stop at some points but eric & I "overshot". So we actually had to go against the directions of the wave & try to get to the area where the others are at. So we struggled & struggled and yadah yadah blah blah... okay shall not go into further details le. =D

In conclusion, we had a FUN day together. Hopefully we can go again together next time! By the way, the 身材 of the guys 还蛮健壮哦！And erm, also discovered that bookeong has chest hair, oops! And and! Andrew gor's swimming trunk has a STRIKING TURQUOISE COLOUR!

P.S. Eric, you're still as muscular as before lah, or maybe better =D

Blogger's uploading-of-pic's system is super slow! The management should really do something about it. Anyway, went studying with eric just now. And this indian guard at Baywater is SUPER inflexible,很不会变通leh!

The Indian Guard: "Reading room is only for reading newspaper. No Studying and no laptops allowed." - WTH. why this guy so 死板板one? 规矩是死的，人是活的！Since no one's even using the READING ROOM, might as well let us study there mah. Some more we've been using the room for study purposes for quite some time le. The other guards also never say cannot study there mah. Zzz. And by the way, how many people would actually go down to a room and sit there just to read newspaper?! The management at Baywater should really go revise the rules & regulations with regards to the facilities; if not i think my dad really 白交 the maintenance fees.

Alright, think tt's all for today. Tomorrow still need to wake up early for gyming session with my sis; after that will be going swimming with the Sec Sch Clique at some swimming complex near Chinese Garden Mrt Station.

This morning: Accounting Lecture (9am)

And as USUAL, i was late; even though i asked Sam to give me morning calls. Think she shouldn't trust my words so easily next time. XD

Anyway, for a plain sleepyhead like me, alarms or morning calls don't work. I definitely need to find a solution for it. Any suggestions, anyone?

Had SAKAE for lunch with lx, jac and sam at the harbourfront centre after that AND i ordered the deluxe bento set; reason being: there's SASHIMI (Slurp~yum!) included in it~ (hahaa, yes i know i'm lame)

Currently i'm quite addicted to the BOF OST. But the thing is that i can't make out what exactly are they singing! and jac totally agrees with me too. XD we're gonna sign up for korean classes as soon as we are free and that we can find some good classes to enrol in to. can't wait to learn korean.李敏镐 <3

XD Anyway, the concert was great. And ah mei's voice is super powerful. But why isn't her guest celebrity JAM HSIAO? =(

Apparently, the suite which Eric & I kena was the suite that's required to serve 200pax (Balmoral).. WTH. But anyway, we made a 'wise' choice by quitting after the first day. =D

1 month 1 day back then, which is on the 17th July'o8..

林宥嘉 & 刘力杨 came to Temasek Poly's convention centre to hold their 校园演唱会. It was a rather successful one cause actually the tickets were supposed to be given out on three specific days..

BUT on the 1st day of the distribution of tickets, within hours and POOF! all were given out.

Special thanks to Suling's friends for letting me cut the queue (oops! :X) and Suling for offering me the ticket (initially i only had one. but SL gave me hers in order to 成全 my wish of going the concert with my bf. thanks thanks!

The concert was supposed to be starting at 6.30pm that day. Around 5.45pm, the queue from the TCC's entrance extended all the way back to some where near the Engine school entrance (if i had remembered correctly, that is)! Luckily bf asked his classmate to queue for him. otherwise i dont think we'll even get to sit on the seats. =/ for all those who came to queue at about 6 plus, they were being settled down to sit on the stairway instead, cause all the seats were being taken. now you can see how overwhelming the response of the public + TP students was towards the concert. In fact, MOST of the lucky audience went there to support Yoga.

Here's just one quick overview of the concert

Overall, enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. :D By the way, we saw Esther, Ashley and Melinda there too. Till then...

BEIJING OLYMPICS- PING PONG WOMEN'S FINAL

1st Highlight of the night- Feng Tian Wei( SG) VS Wang Nan(CHINA)
1st set won by Feng; BUT Wang Nan won the three other sets.
RESULT- Wang Nan WON the GOLD MEDAL

Though she lost, but she'd put up a good fight. Try harder next time! =D

2nd Highlight of the night- Li Jia Wei(SG) VS Zhang Yi Ning(China)
1st set won by Li Jia Wei, 2nd set's most probably will be won by Zhang Yi Ning.
MY PREDICTION- China will win.

Anyway, it's been a hard battle to make it to the FINALS. So CHEERS to the Singapore Team, You all have done us proud. =D

arh.. finally reached home le. hahaa. well today was quite a fine day.. in the morning, there was RHT revision lecture. but as usual, i was LATE. LOL. old habits sure die hard. =D anyway, the lecture was quite short, cause the lecturer only went through selected tutorial questions with us. so i think it lasted for only about 50+ mins? kinda wasted time bah, cause i went in the LT at only 9.30+am. =X well after that there's comm skills meeting with roxann, samantha, su ling and supposedly dylon. but then he didnt turn up cause he went swimming. 0.0 frankly speaking, the rest of the four of us didn't do much during the project discussion, OR RATHER, i didnt do anything much. gosh, i feel so unaccomplished.. =(

this coming thursday: COMM SKILLS presentation
this coming saturday: BCS exam (25%)
next friday: ECONS exam (60%)
next next week: INTHT exam, RHT exam, OB exam

well, what have i started on? probably only my econs.

speaking of econs.. i 'dated' jovene out to teach me econs, since he's having a NATIONAL DAY HOLIDAY. tt's so unfair. why is it that POLY STUDENTS cant have national day holiday? MAJORITY OF US ARE STILL SINGAPOREANS K? aww comm'on, i really need a break. =( hopefully my holidays will come ASAP. anyway, jovene's a really good tutor though; or maybe it's just me that's plain commonsense-less? hahaa. simple concepts, and i can't even process all that in to my mind. i definitely need a brain wash. =/

FINALLY it was down to G2000; since the store had a sales promotion of up to 70% off storewide, plus daddy pig and i needed some formal attire for our presentations and stuffs, THUS, the spendings made. =D and daddy pig bought a new pair of slippers for me! at last we have our very own couple slippers~ yay! it's not cheap okay! hahaa. we had 3 plates of chicken rice for dinner after that. =)

NOW, daddy pig is trying hard to get me to tell him about my BLOG URL. happy guessing! hahaa. =DD

FINALLY, my long-awaited blog is done.(HAHA!like real -.-) SPECIAL THANKS to my sister, for the help rendered. hahaa. she's more pro than me in this kinda of things le. to think, in the past, i was still rather good at all these things. ahh.. age is catching up on me. but fret not, after this HECTIC term, i'll make sure that i get all these stuffs stored in my brain. =)
